It was an honor to serve the good people of Scarborough in the 129th Legislature and as a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Energy Utilities and Technology.

I grew up in Portland on Munjoy Hill and graduated from Portland High School. I was the first member of his family to go to college and graduated from Maine Maritime Academy. I served 10 years as an officer in the Navy Reserves.

My wife Beth and I have lived in Scarborough for over 20 years. We raised our two boys Joshua and Justin here. Like many of my neighbors, I have volunteered with numerous school and community causes and take great pride in having served consecutive terms on the Scarborough Board of Education as well as the Scarborough Town Council.

My work in the private sector as well as my service as both a town and state elected official has taught me the importance of working with people of all interests and ideologies to effectively solve problems.
